The problem

Booking a recording studio was stuck in DMs and phone tag. Artists couldn't compare rooms, rates, or availability, and studios had no storefront. Every founder's education starts with a problem you can't stop thinking about; Trystate.fm was mine.

The approach

I founded and built Trystate.fm, a marketplace connecting artists with recording studios, an effort that grew far enough to take operations international, including building from Cairo, Egypt. The full story is better told in person.
